I Helped Save Rescue may reclaim physical and legal ownership of a dog with or without due process of law for any breach of the adoption agreement that puts the dog at risk for his/her safety or health. In the event the adopter is found to have violated any of the terms and conditions of the adoption agreement, I Helped Save Rescue has the right to repossess the dog without compensation. 

The rescue maintains the right to cancel an adoption for any reason prior to the transfer of ownership of the dog. For example, if we discover new information about an adopter that makes them unfit or we don’t foresee an amicable relationship between the rescue and adopter. Ownership is not complete until fee is paid, spay/neuter is complete and transfer of ownership paperwork is signed and completed.
